Australian Masterchef Judge, George Calombaris was very much in demand at the Good Food and Wine Show that was held in Durban recently with Masterchef fans queuing to watch his show and to get a glimpse of his magic touch in the kitchen. He also hosted a small tea party on the 48HOURS TV stand, and over a cup of tea and Red Velvet Cake, chatted to Margaret Hirsch and her Media team about the show, his favourite appliances, and what he loves about Durban, the warmth of the people and bunny chows being some of the many things!

George was the only international chef at the show, and to keep in line with the South African culture and what the locals love, during his show he created a whole new menu, specifically for Durbanites, adding some spice to his modern Greek-Australian fayre.
