Elize, who is the owner of Strategy International, encouraged the ladies present to embrace their uniqueness and to align their unique qualities and skills to those of their business. She explained the importance of rising above average to excellence by
- Moving in the right circles with likeminded and positive people
- Focussing on your purpose, this will bring success
- Knowing what the market needs
- Adapting quickly
Said one of the guests, Sharron Wilkinson: “This was just what I needed to hear, I felt like Elize was only talking to me.”
An opportunity was given for each of the attendees to give an ‘elevator pitch’ – 30 second presentation of their business, in this way enabling them to market their businesses and in so doing create more awareness.
After some lovely lucky draw prizes were won, the swopping out of business cards and informal networking over a cappuccino continued.
