Strengths required for Peak Performance in Business

Hirsch’s Silverlakes recently hosted their monthly Business Networking Event, where the opportunity is given for businesspeople to network and provide a platform for them to market their businesses.

 

The Guest Speaker at the event, Eberhard Niklaus, spoke on Investing in your Strengths for Peak Performance.  Eberhard has lectured numerous audiences, and coached dozens of business owners to manage successful businesses.  Over the past 15 years, he has worked with a group of over 60 franchisees and coached them to run a successful business by teaching them how to apply business skills and maintain positive and winning attitudes. He has also recently authored the book “Successful Selling Unlocked- Relationship Marketing”

 

He explained the importance of identifying and working with strengths in order to obtain optimal results and maximise potential.  Explaining this he said “It has been proven that people who understand and focus on their strengths are 3 x more likely to be satisfied with their life and are 6 x more engaged in their job.  Strengths are the things that come naturally to us and that in order to identify and use them one would need to:

  • Name your talents/strengths
  • Claim them – put them up somewhere that you see them daily
  • Aim them – ask yourself: “how can I use this today?”
